Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test responsible for design, development, launch and operation of the key initiatives associated with the most complex integration system. You will work in a highly collaborative and supportive environment across all stages of an agile software development life cycle, including architecture design, development, documentation, testing and operations.
You will be an independent contributor, who works with various stakeholders to improve overall quality of Conversational shopping. SDET’s key focus is also to reduce manual/regression test execution, and improve test efficiency by creating automated solutions. You should identify and reduce defects early in the cycle, through building and driving adoption of framework and tools.
You will onboard various teams to the framework, to help them understand high level architecture of the F/W, mentoring and training teammates/stakeholders.
You will utilize S/W Engineering best practices/processes to improve operational excellence, maintaining high coding standards, reviewing design and code for partner teams.
Furthermore, you will have the satisfaction of being able to look back and say you were a key contributor to something special from its earliest stages.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience building test automation frameworks and tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
- Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services
